BSO Polska was founded in 1989 as part of British Sugar’s first investment in Poland. From these beginnings BSO has gained a reputation as a high quality and customer focused supplier of industrial and retail sugar in Poland and Europe.
BSO Polska has on offer a wide range of sugar products for the retail customer under the “ Srebrna Łyżeczka” brand, the most recognizable sugar brand on the Polish market. The company also delivers sugar of high and repeatable quality to major industrial customers tailored to their individual requirements. Additionally, BSO Polska as an owner of Co-Products Polska, manufactures animal feed under the Tofi brand along with other commodities as a result of the sugar beet processing.
Each and every year BSO Polska produces sugar in an amount equivalent to 11% of the whole production quota for the Polish sugar industry. BSO Polska has established its production premises in a single highly modernized sugar factory in Glinojeck. Following the major capital investment, the plant is now the largest and most modern in Poland. This sugar factory was the first in Poland to have been adapted to carry out sugar production throughout the juice campaign.
